Your dentist will first assess if you are a good candidate for this treatment. Once your eligibility is confirmed and once you have consented to this treatment, using state-of-the-art technology, a 3d image of your teeth is taken. Your dentist can also show you your new smile before starting the treatment.

Advantages

Disadvantages

Lack of cooperation from the patient and an unmotivated patient.

Need to be removed while eating or drinking any beverage other than water.

Does not treat all malocclusion problems.

Dentists recommend that for effective and noticeable results you should wear your aligners for at least 22 hours each day. They are to be removed only during eating, drinking, brushing, or flossing. The time taken to complete the treatment would vary from person to person. Generally, results are visible within six months from the treatment start date.
